Main focus of the project was Mobile App content streaming of VoD media, images, text and user interactions (polls and quizzes). Mobile App support more than 100’000 simultaneous users, which is done with the help of Kubernetes clusters, autoscaling and AWS CloudFront CDN. Server side, the platform was responsible for handling large video uploads, creating transcoding jobs for the videos and preparing the videos for CDN. Tech stack of the project was Node.js for content serving and user management, AWS services such as MediaConvert, CloudFront, S3, ECR etc. and react-native for mobile clients.
